This is so true for me. Especially because audiobooks are a format that does not work for me unless all the factors align correctly (attention span, book content, narrator voice, etc)

Awww, Orlando Warped Tour weekend finally sold out. :( I had to wait until after next week's trip before securing a ticket, so I guess I'll just have to see about grabbing the pre-sale for next year instead.

Kind of want to cosplay MK3 era Mileena next year for CEO and EVO if I go in honor of the Legacy Kollection coming out. Never cosplayed before though so little nervous at the thought of actually doing it.

Had to talk to HR about time off approval for August trip still pending. Got it approved AND he went ahead and approved the November weekend. Guess I'm going to Warped Tour in Orlando now. :D Now need for things to work out in 2 weeks & I will confidently say 2025 has been an amazing year.

Passport renewal secured. Potential January travel plans TBD but is very likely if things align as nicely as I'm hoping. This year has really been a turning point for me and I can't wait to see what comes next. :)

Crazy brain is plotting a thing again.

FB keeps recommending a bunch of pictures of little kids graduating pre-k/kindergarten. At first was like "okay, makes sense since I was seeing my friends' and these are probably public pages." Now I'm concerned about this algorithm showing me what seems like a LOT of random people's kids.

Guess I'm going to be trying out KOF next month alongside starting to grind MKX before Legacy Collection drops. Also Diablo IV. My game library is wild.

Things that are always a struggle for me: Finding the balance between not wanting to text first, making sure the person still knows I'm interested even if it means I text first & not being an annoyance by always texting first bc they are busy & I don't want them to think I'm no longer interested.
