1/2 This (below) got me thinking: what are people's all-time favourite desserts? I was just watching an Iraqi guy (who immigrated to the UK) trying British pub foods for the first time. He said he thinks that sticky toffee pudding is the best dessert in the world.

Little portrait in honour of the baby Capybara recently born at Edinburgh zoo. This is my second ever attempt at using Illustrator's brush and pencil tools (and first try with my ex-pen drawing pad).

We've passed the halfway point of Eddie's daily (4-week) injections to treat his leishmaniasis. After removing a troublesome shattered claw and 2 months having to wear a cone most of the time, he's finally stopped trying to constantly lick the sore skin on his paws, and his legs are looking better.

Did my first home exercise session after leaving the gym. 20mins total, covering legs, arms and core. What a bore.

I've been seeing a lot of videos from the USA where people say hateful things aggressively in sometimes face, then get beaten up for it. Are they set up or are things really kicking off frequently over there?

I'm sure there's deep symbolism going on here, but for the life of me I don't know what it means.

Today's lunch at Chez Jones: barbecued jalapeno beef burger with creamy cheese slices, burger sauce and toasted sesame seed bun. A rare treat, everything from Aldi and the burgers had a decent spice level considering they're from a supermarket (which usually mute spice-heat levels).

The Pitt (s2)... (very mild spoiler) . . . . . . . ... seems strange that they have to call in social services because a kid had alcohol in his blood, but not because he had explosives.

My first attempt at using brushes and the pencil on Illustrator. It took me a long time and I've not wrapped my head around quite a few things, but I'm pleased with my first try. I call this little guy "The Drinker".

See, the roasted garlic looked pretty bad in the skin, but when it's out it's fine. Still a tad overdone but more then edible.

I started drawing for the first time in December 2025 (with a Gremlin). Six months later (I'm trying to draw a lot of Scottish animals atm) I feel I've made decent progress. "A doodle a day" has been my approach -- I've missed quite a few, especially about a month where I forgot entirely.

Hah just saw a review of one of my novels stating I've used AI (it was published in 2020, before AI - not that I'd ever use AI), the book is for children (it's not), I need an editor to check for mistakes (it had 2 editors) and I need to work on my poetry (well maybe, although...
