I've seen a few posts of people saying Japanese people rarely eat x food (sushi and ramen in particular), but tourists eat lots of it while there. I think that's quite similar in many places. People in Scotland tend not to eat haggis bonbons, Cullen skink and cranachan that often either.

"Slay The Spire 2" (early) launches tomorrow. Possibly not a lot of people know the game, but I've spent... some considerable time playing the first (I hope a lot of those hours are due to me leaving it running in the background). Suffice to say I'll be getting the sequel on launch.

I'm rewatching "The Sopranos" and every episode (s1e9) so far is great and engaging. It reminds me of how irritating I find some modern shows where you have to wade through half a season of boring episodes before it "gets good". Why are so many wealthy franchises (in particular) so bad for this?

This weekend I bought 3kg of daal (red, green and black) from a local producer, plus 5 curries from Aldi's new range (to test if they're good freezer back-ups when I can't be bothered to cook), and I made a big keema muttar. I think I might have had a hankering for Indian food.

Maybe it's because I live in a capital city (Edinburgh, Scotland) but I've never struggled to get medical assessment/treatment in the UK. It's always been fast, efficient and professional. Case in point: last night I booked a hearing assessment.
