Israel has said that an additional 171 activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla, including climate campaigner Greta Thunberg, were deported on Monday to Greece and Slovakia.

Israel has deported 137 people detained for attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza. This is the second deportation, after four Italians were returned on Friday. While those deported seem to be in good health, they have raised serious concerns about the wellbeing of others still detained.

Members of the Global Sumud Flotila abducted by the Israeli military in international waters on Wednesday night are expected to be transferred to one of Israel's most notorious torture prisons. The Kitzi'ot prison has been the site of repeated abuses against Palestinian prisoners.

Israel has begun the process of deporting hundreds of activists who were on board around 40 vessels in the Global Sumud Flotilla, after a day of interceptions by the lsraeli navy. At least one vessel is still heading towards Gaza.

UPDATE – October 2nd, 20:00h GMT+3 450+ civilians illegally abducted by the Israeli occupation forces. In the last 24h, 21 boats were confirmed intercepted, 20 presumably intercepted and 1 still sailing (Marinette).
