#publicservices #ai #transformation #ai #digitaltransformation #changeleadership #futureofwork #organisationalculture | Katz Kiely | 14 comments
The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change recently released a report on reforming #publicservices with #AI. Its like groundhog day ... Jerry Fishenden ran the report through an AI and compared it against 30 years of UK digital government promises. The verdict was almost funny. Same language. Same sweeping claims. Technology will transform, personalise, empower, join up, do more for less. He sums it up: itâs not plagiarism, itâs recurrence. Last year I wrote about why digital transformation didnât deliver what it promised. My argument: it didnât fail because of bad tech. It failed because technology and process reform alone are not enough. We ignored culture, trust, and the way people actually feel at work. We bolted new tech onto old behaviour and called it #transformation. Iâve worked with four CEOs this year. Public and private, different sectors, same challenge. Their teams werenât aligned. People couldnât see how their work fitted into the bigger picture. Many couldnât see
