Fear has surged over the years about whether sunscreen is safe to use, but the truth is more nuanced than the headlines. Some people have even stopped wearing sunscreen altogether, which increases the risk of sunburn, premature aging, and skin cancer. The big question is: Are sunscreens toxic?
