" That is understandable . . not everyone likes them . " He did hear alarms go off awhile back , but he never realized it was over something as small as a spider .

" Ah , I see . . I did not realize you disliked spiders - "

A small tilt of his head and a confused hum . " And why not ? "

Well , unless Lord Dottore likes the color pink and likes fluffy spider costumes -

At least it's not the worst outfit he's ever seen . It could have been much worse .

" . . ? " Maybe it's a good idea for Zen to keep quiet on Lord Dottore's outfit . However , it was quite difficult not to laugh .

Oh , it's storming tonight . . . With a slight look of distress , Zen has retreated to his room for the evening . Thunder isn't his thing . .

A soft , lighthearted tune emanated from the Fatuus , going about the evening cleaning as he was ordered to by Master Tartaglia . He's even cleared out several small spiders , having released them outside .

Someone save him - he's been sneezing all day .

Zen is busy fighting a ruin machine that he's stumbled across while out on duty .

The Fatuus is currently learning how to use a bow , seemingly struggling with it a little . The arrow he fired , he can't find it - " Hopefully that didn't . . hit anyone . . "

Quietly sitting on the floor somewhere around headquarters , Zen was once again scribbling on paper from his sketchbook - this time taking notes on something . He managed to sneak away from his supervisor , just so he could .

As the Harbinger standing before him asked such a simple question , the Fatuus once more tilted his head slightly , paying attention to the words spoken . He could hear it in Dottore's tone , that he held a strong sense of authority , quite different compared to Tartaglia . It almost felt 【✩】

" Well , trouble maker . . if you're looking for stronger opponents , there's a chance you'll find someone or something like that around here . " He couldn't tell exactly what it was , but there was something about Lohen that he couldn't put his finger on . Perhaps it was that cocky attitude ,【✩】

The sound of Lohen's laughter caught him completely off guard , crimson colored eyes widening slightly . He was not expecting such . Folding his arms in front of his chest once again , Zen let out a soft hum before he spoke . " You make it sound like you're quite the trouble maker amongst 【✩】

" . . ? " Upon hearing the Doctor's low , dry chuckle , the slightly shorter male gave a small tilt of his head in response . Nervous ? Perhaps . There also was a chance that Zen was rather daring . He was somewhat willing to push , to at least discover where his limits were . " . . You do 【✩】

" . . To be fair , mosquitoes are kind of an annoyance . . " With a small tilt of his head , Zen's expression changed a little . It was a more thoughtful look , despite the fact he knew mosquitoes also played a role for the ecosystem - other than irritating people . He then shook his head 【✩】

While the one responsible for supervising and training the Fatuus was at fault , Zen was not completely innocent in this matter . He was partially to blame . His curiosity got the better of him , straying him away from where he was supposed to go . That was when he discovered the little guys 【✩】

" Just in general . . Just like spiders , there are many creatures that hold importance to keeping nature in balance . And it's better to protect the ecosystem . " As the snowy haired male continued , his tone seemed to calm just a little . The pink tinting his skin soon faded to a lighter 【✩】

" Tartaglia might not like those shark creatures , but I think they're . . unique . " Zen , no -

" Someone who cares about the environment - " Zen's tone became a little defensive , protesting in response to the stranger's remark . " Spiders are important to keep around ; they have a role in helping maintain balance in nature . " Whether he was considered weird for standing up for 【✩】

Zen did as asked , taking a step or two back in order to give Dottore enough room to gather the little creatures inside the odd-looking box . He couldn't help but watch with curiosity and amazement . After the box had vanished along with the critters , his gaze soon met with what he assumed 【✩】

For a moment , a crimson red gaze watched Dottore's movements , curiosity filling them . However , Zen soon snapped out of it , setting the little creatures from his hand back with the others . He then stood and cautiously stepped back . " Yes , sir . "

The Fatui was doing his best to be careful with the little guys , not wanting to accidentally harm them in any way . " ! " Caught by surprise a little , he turned towards the Harbinger . " If there's a more efficient way , please let me know - "

Carefully picking up a few of the little creatures crawling around , Zen's confusion only grew . " Wait . . are these from Lord Dottore's lab . . ? How'd they get here . . ? "

He's found a few more critters roaming around . Confused Fatui noises . " Where'd these little guys come from . . ? "
