Update on my keyboard situation. left ctrl key retainer clip is broken, donor clip is on the way. Kinda broke caps lock clip but still in working order. Managed to pop off my shift key today and instead of breaking the clip again I just spent 2 hours with tweezers scraping off grape soda remnants.

spilled grape soda on my laptop. caps lock is sticky, shift is barely passable, ctrl key broke despite my best efforts to remove and clean it (and splitting my fingernail). It's 2:40am and I do not want to deal with this shit the day I start my spring break. Don't know whether to hate myself or not.
