#LunchtimeLP John Coltrane's Blue World recorded for the film Le chat dans le sac by Rudy Van Gelder in June of 1964. The album wasn't released until 2019. It featured Coltrane's classic quartet: McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison and Elvin Jones. It's the only soundtrack recording he ever made. #jazzsky

I just returned from Manhattan. One the records I picked up at the Jazz Record Center in Chelsea was Gabor Szabo's Dreams, a 2017 reissue of a 1968 release. Sounds great.
