As my artist www.artstation.com/quietvictories worked on the cover he laid out a number of posture changes. E7 was what we started with and E8 was the alternate. I didn't like E8 as it was dynamic but was quite unconventional and postured strangely. I had issues however with E7 #🪐📚 #booksky

p.1 Book 1 Cover Art series. Ver. E became the basis for book 1's cover b/c of a combination of factors. This concept by www.artstation.com/quietvictories was by far the most dynamic, had good space for title text, and had Frances in the best action pose. The wand was also incredibly striking #🪐📚

Re this: Many authors and cover artists will block ppl who use ai. I’m pretty sure that if i wanted to go genai for cover art I’d lose all of my community of friends, peers and acquaintances i write and art with. So aside for the many moral grounds, there‘s a very practical reason for rejecting ai
