Spent over 20 hours playing Avowed, and just reached the second region about an hour ago. Exploring every corner of the Living Lands, constantly wondering what I might find next and it’s been a long time since I’ve lost myself in a game like this for hours on end in a single sitting.

Just finished Indiana Jones, and it’s hands down the best game I’ve played in 2024. Sure, there are some minor flaws and areas that could have been better, but it comes this close 🤏 to being perfect.

Assassin’s Creed Infinity looks fantastic. A system like this is absolutely essential for franchises with such a large number of games.

My thoughts on the new Switch: - Leaks killed the excitement, and Nintendo’s sudden video drop didn’t help. - Backward compatibility is confirmed, but the library remains unclear.

Visually stunning, but with gameplay too dull to draw me in, The Plucky Squire sadly joins the corner of “games I loved the style of but dropped out of boredom.” I wanted to love you, but it just didn’t work out 👋

Eggers has delivered a film that rivals The Lighthouse in quality, dialogue, and storytelling. It’s been a while since we’ve seen such a good vampire story. Horror fans shouldn’t miss this one!

I recently finished MiSide in one sitting, and I have mixed feelings about it. While it’s a solid game in some aspects, I don’t think it’s as amazing as everyone claims it to be. The game excels in its concept, surprise elements, art design, and animations.

Spent an hour with Motion Twin’s new game Windblown—think Dead Cells, but isometric. Great action, satisfying progression, but light on content (expected in early access). Finished it in three hours. It felt like it ended a bit quickly, but it was amazing. I especially loved the ‘art’ concept. I really hope we don’t have to wait another 13 years for the next Alan Wake.

Alan Wake and Control are so beautifully intertwined that even the smallest piece of the story I read gives me immense pleasure. I’m thrilled that the entire Remedy team, especially Sam Lake, are such exceptional lore keepers. I hope we see more games with this level of consistency.

There are some shortcomings, but overall it performs smoothly. To improve accessibility and visibility, it could have been assigned to the PS button imho. If you don’t have many friends to play with, I especially recommend the solo preset.
