Starting my morning with a fresh walk, decent coffee and Frightened Rabbit on the headphones. I knew Scott, still extremely sad that he’s no longer here.

This is usually a quiet time of the year for me but I have trips to Madeira and Albania booked, an overnight stay at Snowdonia, Turnstile and two London visits between now and the end of November. December will be hermit month.

Related: I live near a uni campus & walk my dog there daily. I couldn’t help notice during freshers week that a certain high percentage of students there will be studying for degrees for jobs that won’t exist soon. But hey, let’s keep telling kids that getting into £50k of debt is the best option.

Record hunting today was a success. The Ed Stasium mix of Tim is unreal. Listening to a record you grew up with and hearing it with so much more clarity later on is amazing.

Fuck Bonnie Blue (not literally). This university tour is the complete opposite of what is needed in terms of teaching young men how to respect and treat women. It encourages them to treat them like disposable objects, and in turn, young women grow up thinking being treated that way is the norm.
