Andrea Diaz, our PhD student, recently visited the Lao-Luxembourg laboratory hosted by the Institut Pasteur du Laos. The purpose of her visit was to advance her PhD project, focused on infectious diseases in children under five years of age in Laos. #InfectiousDiseases #VulnerablePopulations

In August, Dr Hübschen, Dr Reteng and C. Gamio attended a tick identification workshop in Tartu, Estonia. Organized by the OH4Surveillance consortium, the event focused on the morphological identification of common European ticks. Many thanks to Dr Chitimia-Dobler for sharing valuable expertise!

Alexandre Stockholm, from the Université de Lorraine, successfully completed his ten-week internship with us. 🎉👏 He explored the role of birds in the tick-borne disease borreliosis, under the supervision of Dr. Aleksandra Krawczyk. Alexandre will continue to work with us in August as summer student!
