[Summer nodded, looking back into Raven's eyes directly] Yes... Yes it was

[Summer practically whispered as her lips were almost touching Raven's, her voice light and almost nervous] You can feel whatever you'd like Raven~

[Summer couldn't help but bite her lip softly, feeling Raven's embrace as she leaned in even closer] You know I only get this way around you...

[Summer immediately started to blush as she looked into Raven's red eyes] I... I think I'm more than happy with this~

What's a little bit of a peck from time to time? I think I'm right where I wanna be

Summer looked to see how they could get out of here and not be chased down by a tea set or something. She used her semblance to make the branch start to slowly lower them closer to the patio. "Do you know where in the castle we are? Like how to get out of here?"

The branches systematically caught onto the parasol with their leaves before releasing, each one helping slow the momentum of their fall. Trying her best to not rip the fabric, not knowing how absurdly durable it actually was

Summer held onto the woman, looking pretty worried until the weapon of hers suddenly opened to a parasol. Slowing the both of them down as Neo redirected them away from the tower. "Try to get us near that tree, I can use it to slow us down!" She reached out and the branches started to move

Summer just had to trust that her savior knew what she was doing, maybe there's a vine trellis she could use to help slow their fall but she'd only know mid fall. Summer took Neo's hand as she ran with her towards the window, the door behind them caving in at what appeared to be a massive clock

Summer has no real recollection of the layout of the castle. So she had to try and follow the younger woman's lead. Walking up towards the window and seeing if there were any plants nearby to aid them in their escape, not seeing any trees especially close to the tower. "Lead the way, we need to go"

Hearing the slamming against the door made Summer react and go back into her defensive mindset. Grabbing a rather large shard of glass to protect herself with as she looked back towards Neo. "Mute I take it? That's fine you clearly know how to fight... How do we get out of here?"

The fact that the multi-colored girl didn't attack her while unarmed or simply flee implied that she was at least not hostile. "Ok uh... My name is Summer... Thank you for rescuing me from that glass jar... You wouldn't believe what I've gone through to try and get out of this place..."

Suddenly after what felt like ages but also only moments, Summer's consciousness started to stir again. Waiting dormant inside of the glass enclosure in the mansion for her rescuer. The time passed for her almost like a dream, rapid and yet slow at the same time. ++

Summer sadly did as she was told, walking through the Red portal back to patch to go meet with Tai and plan their departure to Shade

Summer walked towards the portal as she turned to face Raven. "You're right, she's especially known for her mercy, having whole cities of people who serve her. Or was it just a handful of people who are currently useful to her? " ++

"If she already has 2 or 3 relics in hand like you said, the smartest thing to do is reinforce the only one left. You giving one for your tribe hardly matters at this point. If she gets all 4 then everyone dies anyway. At this point? The only people who survive are those who fight. ++"

Summer stood there in silence for a moment. "I know you've done horrible things... And these are some of the worst, but I can only ask why. Maybe you can be an ally but... That's if you want. The reasons why we do things matters as much as what we do." ++

Summer thought about it for a second, what would she have done... "You couldn't run or she'd kill your tribe, and you weren't equipped to fight her... I'm going to be honest. I'm furious with you... But I can understand where you came from... If it were our girls in danger..."

Summer's reaction was hard to read, slightly shocked at the reveal of Raven being the Spring maiden, but it was the sentence after it that was playing in her mind. "Raven... You know that's incredibly stupid... That kind of betrayal... But our past has earned you this much... Why?"

"Logically yes I should hear it from you, that way I don't have to question the validity But... I know it's wrong, you aren't the Raven I knew anymore and... I want to know you..." She was visibly conflicted, her hand gripping her cloak tightly

Summer looked back towards Raven, her expression was torn. She wanted to spend time with her, at least before having to see the others. Being with them meant she'd be thrown into the inevitable fight immediately. "Then... Then just don't tell me. It'll be better if I don't know..."

"Its not like anyone would even know, no one in your tribe even knows who I am, what would be a day or two to... make up for lost time before I have to go back... I... I can't condone what you've done Raven. But... I can't just... I can't hate you Raven. Even if we're on different sides..."

Summer's grip tightened for a moment. Another soft sigh escaping her lips "You dumb bird... If I'm not going to be able to see you after this... until its done... Then I may as well not take this time for granted. To see our girls would just put me back in the fight right away..." ++

Summer quietly stood there for a moment "Nothing in this world can stop her for good... That's for sure... but some things aren't of this world... I don't know how to do it but... My time there, in the other place, it gave me ideas." She then looked up into Raven's eyes again ++

Summer let out another deep breath as she let go of only one side of her armor, holding onto one sleeve as she looked away, and spoke just barely above a whisper "So... You've been selfish in these recent times? Not fighting Salem with the others..?"

Her voice was still soft and quiet, taking another step towards Raven again. "And uh... You said Shade is holding? Like... Not an immediate threat?" Her hands moved to the sides of Ravens armor as she looked away

Summer felt a deep shock of pain inside her chest, seeing that same pain on Raven's face this entire time "Raven. No amount of time is too long. Not for me and certainly not for you, you're too damn stubborn for that." She paused for a moment before speaking again, much softer

Summer could practically feel the anxiety radiating off of Raven, trying to not push her anymore than she already has. "Warn me of what? Again it's just... I want to help them but... I've missed you... It hasn't been nearly as long for me so I can only guess how you feel..."

"Then you probably need my help there... Unless you want to..." No Summer, wanting to catch up really isn't a good use of your time at this point. If they're fighting they'll need all the help they can get, and as fast as possible too... "I suppose I still owe you an explanation..."

Summer let out a long drawn out sigh. Her hand moved towards Sundered Rose's haft as she looked around. "So our daughters are in Shade I assume, if it's the last holdout against Salem, and it sounds like they can use all the help they can get..." It was at this moment Summer paused

Summer's face practically dropped. Her eyes spacing out for a moment as she thought about what Raven had just said. "A maiden worked with Salem but didn't die... The strongest military in the world was destroyed... And Beacon... Ozpin died? That's... Impossible..."

"Which ones... I only know vaguely what the relics can do but... I can only assume if Salem has them that those cities are destroyed. Shade and Haven I can only assume are gone..." She tried to think about how the situation could've gotten to where it was and how to dig it free

"The stories about the maidens, one for each season, and the lamp an the staff of creation? The stuff about the brothers and whatnot too?" Summer looked somewhat curious, not nearly as skeptical as one would expect

"She always did seem ahead of others her age so it could make sense... Wait... Oz probably fast tracked her just because she also had silver eyes... that fucker... at least it worked out I guess... What do you mean by complicated Raven?"

Summer looked genuinely perplexed for a moment. Seeing Raven this distraught as she pulled away yet again. She knew better than to chase after her when she didn't want the affection. ++

Summer looked... conflicted. She knew Raven was always hard on herself so the odds of her blowing her own actions out of proportion weren't too low. "Raven... What kinds of crime are we talking about... and arguably more important... why?" Her silver eyes locked onto Raven's red orbs.

Summer's hand brushed across Raven's cheek, trying to ground her to the best of her ability "We all change with time Raven, reinventing ourselves every day and well... You've had more days than I have. What happened? You can tell me, and I know things were tough so asking you to be a saint? ++

Sensing Raven pulling away from the hug, Summer pulled back as well to see her looking away. Her hand moved towards Raven's chin before turning it to face her. "Talk to me Raven. I know it's been a while for you but... What's troubling you with seeing me? I'm here and I'm here for you"

Summer embraced Raven, not asking any more questions. Her arms wrapping around the taller woman, linking and holding on tight. It wasn't nearly as long for her as it was for Raven, so she absolutely needed this hug "I'm here Raven... I'm finally here"

Summer wiped her eyes as she looked back up at Raven, attempting to steel herself. Hearing how distant Raven was from the girls definitely tracked but... It still was hard to hear. "I don't know if you'd believe me even if I told you... But I'm really here Raven. And it's really me"
