A CL-415 can hold 6,140 litres (630 US gallons) of water, which can be scooped up in 12 seconds at a speed of 130 kph (80 mph). During 1 hour, it can dump its load 12 to 20 times, depending on distance between water source & fire. It's therefore a big gun to sideline because of a drone impact.

Under Investigation: CL-415 plane left with a "sizable hole in its wing." The incident downed all aircraft fighting the fire for nearly half an hour while officials made sure the skies were clear. In total Quebec will provide California with four water bombers. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
