10 years ago today, my younger brother succumbed to a heart attack. Our relationship in later years was complicated, and we became were estranged. Never think that I do not grieve. These photos remind me that we did share many good times and there was love. I hope he found the peace he craved.

43 years ago today, this lovely child was born. Her sister was thrilled, thinking that this baby girl belonged solely to her. Jennifer has brought us all a great deal of joy and it warms my heart to see her mother her own child. Happy Birthday, Buttercup! I love you to the moon and back.🌸🩷🥰🎁🎂🎉

Three years ago today, Mommy died after valiant fight against metastatic breast cancer. I am supremely blessed to have many happy moments in my life. Yet, the grief never fades. It has simply moved on to its own pocket within my heart and soul. It’s a part of my life.

I’m having Stephanie’s birthday dinner tonight. We are going down home — smothered steak with lots of gravy, buttered rice, and asparagus with Hollandaise sauce. The birthday cake is devil’s food with white icing tinted green for St. Patrick’s Day. There’s gonna be some good eatin’ at my house!

At 5:22am on March 16, 1978, my first child was born, Stephanie Leah Barrow. From the moment, she arrived, she stole my heart. She has grown into a lovely, generous, kind, intelligent, and loyal daughter. Her smile lights up any room she enters. Happy Birthday, baby! I love you!

Never thought I’d see Disneyland and Universal Studios become a bastion of letting it all (and I mean all) hang out. My granddaughter and I saw more overflowing breasts, ass cheeks, and coochies than I ever care to see. Sex workers in the Amsterdam red light district are better clad.
