Adding an AI disclaimer to my blog.  I also think one way to keep blogging fun and meaningful is getting more personal. I often read others'  blogs because I value their thinking and personal touch. For an LLM, it is easy to just restate some neutral facts.

Working on a naming conventions page for #dbLinter. It previews the current regex with test values. I created a custom #orclAPEX plug-in for that. Definitely time-consuming, but it's worth it to build great experiences #UX.

I am playing around with #ActivityWatch (FOSS) to track my computer usage and automatically categorize it by project. VS Code and browser plug-ins plus regex rules help with this. Quite powerful.

OpenAI's tool handling is weird. Their JSON schema deviates from standard, and crucially, it often ignores required fields. Even with GPT-5. Adding required info to the tool description helps. Llama, Gemini, and Anthropic don't have this issue. Maybe reasoning could help.
