Today’s the day! My girlfriend—who I had to leave behind in America when I was deported—is finally arriving, and we’re starting our life together here in Ireland. I’m so excited and so happy!

Last night, as part of our spooky season viewing, we watched “something wicked this way comes“ (1983) and “Coraline“ (009). Coraline was delightful! I gave it 5-stars… Absolutely loved it. Something Wicked was OK. Slow start, strong sucking act. Creepy AF, but enjoyable. 3- stars. #filmsky

Every week I lead an interfaith support group for teenagers and young adults trying to navigate their sexuality and faith, and let's be honest this fucked up world. I bring donuts, candy, and coffee. They talk. I listen. Sometimes I offer guidance and advice. It's a good gig.

God is love and cannot, by definition, hate, and a world without love would be unlivable, so... if you push me... the latter (in the sense that discovering love is without meaning would be truly devastating).

One thing I cannot STAND is food shaming / nutrition shaming of parents. I used to live in a community with quite a few struggling financially. I would meet with young moms coming to the church for assistance. They would shame over what they could give their families.
