Most of the time you hear me talking about my cartooning work. But I also LOVE typography. I LOVE color. And I absolutely LOVE a really good layout. Illustration taught me beauty. Graphic design (and marketing) taught me "visual impact." These are the things that feed me creatively.

For National Cartoonists Day, I'm paying tribute to my Dad today. My fondest memory of him will always be simply sitting at his drawing table, plugging away at gag cartoons for magazines. A happy holiday today to all my friends and peers in the industry!
