I’m almost ashamed to admit this, but up until 2023, I had never watched Anime or read Manga. Yup. It only took 46 years and LOTS of down time from multiple surgeries for me to say, “Why not?” And I’m SO glad I did. What fabulous characters I have “met” and adventures I’ve “gone” on! 🎨

Anyone who grew up around Soap Operas knows of Luke and Laura, whether you watched GH or not. I had the pleasure of meeting Tony Geary and his partner many years ago. He was incredibly funny, generous and very down to earth. I was very sorry to hear of his passing Such a tremendous loss. ❤️

Sometimes I like to escape the ick of the world, put on some soothing tunes and soak in a nice, warm bubble bath. Apparently, Molly does too. 🤪

I ❤️ Honey Crisp Apples! Not only are they delicious on their own, but they also make the BEST Apple "Fritter" Bread and Muffins! SO GOOD! 🍎

What do you do when you have an abundance of overripe bananas? Invite flour, sugar and such to the party and mix up a delicious batter! I added chopped walnuts to one batch and made Banana Nut Bread and added dried cranberries to another and made the most yummy muffins! Good times. 🍌

Twas the night after Thanksgiving Dinner and all through the house, not a creature was stirring... except Robby settling in for an evening of Stranger Things 5!

Getting ready for Thanksgiving dinner with my make-a-head staples to make the actual day less stressful! Broccoli Cheddar Rice Casserole, Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Potato Bake, homemade Cranberry Compote (made with the additions of diced Apple, Orange and Pear) and Beaumonde Rye Bread Dip! 😊

Of course I loved this movie, but shockingly, I think I loved it even more than the first part! It's darker and bittersweet, but its messages are so timely and even stronger than originally intended. I will see it again... 🩷🎥💚

Yes, the pups continue to claim the heated blanket as their own. Additional facts: they also require dim lighting and enjoy listening to Anne Rice stories. Here they are drifting off with visions of Lestat's adventures dancing in their little heads. 🤪

And ANOTHER Update: I'm fairly certain that I will not only be robbed of my heated blanket again this evening, but I'm sure I will also be forced to sleep in a sleeping bag on the floor as my bed will be held hostage by these little rascals... 🤪

ANOTHER UPDATE: The heated blanket has now spawned Puppy Slumber Party 2025. Not one, not two, but three, yes, THREE pups! Molly, Suzie and visiting boy friend Prince! 🤪

UPDATE: Not only has my heated blanket been seized by two small pups, I am now a pillow that is not allowed to move for fear of incurring the wrath of the little white devil if I dare disturb her slumber... 🤣

Molly and Suzie have decided that I'm not allowed to get UNDER the heated blanket because they are very comfortable laying ON it, are toasty, warm and quite content as they are and refuse to move. 🤣

An hour earlier? Hooray! I sleep more! 🤣
