Yeah, I haven’t posted in a while. It’s been a bit of a ride lately.🎢 But I thought I’d share the latest feral kitten rescue update. Tomorrow marks one month since Merlin showed up on our doorstep, and it’s fair to say he’s made himself right at home. 🐾

He’s settling in nicely. I want to call him Merlin so badly! We have one family member that is a holdout on that name- it seems like Earl Grey is more universally accepted. I think I’ll secretly name him Earl Merlin Grey and call him whatever the heck I want to when no one else is around. 😉 🐾

I started Christmas shopping today. Yes, Christmas shopping! I would like to report that we’ve made progress with our little feral kitten project. He is quite happy to be friends with us, and today we might bring him inside (just to visit, as we are slowly trying to introduce him to our family without traumatizing him). We still have not agreed on a name. 🐾

Kitten update 8/18/25: little dude(ette?) is still hanging out. We’ve been unsuccessful at catching it, but we have been able to get it to come closer. This kitty is so skittish, I’ve given up on trying to get it inside for now. We’re going to have to take the slow route to developing rapport. 🐾

Just got my hubs’ birth certificate for the first time, now have his accurate birth time for astrology purposes and it IS SO REAL. Answers questions I had before know the right astrological houses. We had a guess time (from his mom) before and there were some gaps that I just knew were off. 🧵
