Recent uses bookstore find. I love classic sci-fi, I love paperback sci-fi/fantasy art, and I love a good high concept sci-fi short story. Robert Heinlein had an amazing ability to introduce worlds and concepts through background world-building and dialogue. He was a master of “show, don’t tell.”

This yarn bowl came out of the kiln yesterday. The high fire burned out all the color in the underglaze, but still let me with a very cool result. The gas kiln always participates in the process a bit more than the mid-fire electric. #pottery #ceramics #clay #beetle
