Just stumbled on a UK secondary school teacher’s TikTok account on my For You Page. He is filming himself (in selfie mode) walking around on duty talking to and winding up the kids. They are all heard jokingly talking to him about things going on in their year. Absolutely insane.

Had a passion fruit, pistachio and white chocolate tart today and it was so good I could have cried.

Just got a proper facial and back and shoulder massage. It lasted an hour and a half and was £35. Where I live in England, that would have cost me over a hundred quid. 😭

Great walk today. Antrim Coast looking well.

Have had a bit of a shit time recently. Easter break is gladly welcomed.

It was pouring with rain all morning. It was getting me down until I realised I had a 2 year old and he BLOODY LOVES A PUDDLE.

Being at home in Ireland and with my parents for half-term really nourishes my soul. They have quality time with their grandson and I get to RELAX.

My 2 year old has taken to saying things like, ‘This is the biggest kick in my whole life’ or ‘This is the biggest throw in my whole life’ when we are playing and it is so cute I could cry.

World Book Day is approaching. Department is doing Animal Farm. Best costume ideas for someone who doesn’t like dressing up? 😅

Today, I have: Deep cleaned the microwave, air fryer and washing machine. Cleaned my makeup brushes. Gutted rubbish to get rid of. Today, I have not: Left the house. You win some, you lose some.

I can't believe Ofsted went for the working it did when this was right there and we already have experience with it.

When I started teaching, the big thing was the attention grabbing hook. The amount of observation notes I have that say ‘pupils were immediately gripped by the image on the board.’ Haha.

We have had visitors, have been travelling, have been at other people’s houses pretty much this entire holiday. It has been lovely but obviously quite full on. Today is the first day in weeks that I’m at home alone. I am GIDDY.
