oh and while i am on it Screw You Nvidia. With your "windows first/only" driver Api philosophy. If it wasn't so expensive right now i would have replaced my GPU with a AMD card. trying to get a VM running with proper GPU passthrough and nvidia.. is like swallowing a live scorpion.. never again

Been on Linux for a month now, i have completely replaced my workflow with native linux available apps (thankfully there is LOTs of choice now). Has also become a lot less scary over the years thanks to dabbling with Raspberry Pi's etc.

Its funny how i am suddenly very much reminded of the early 2000s , when friends told me to say "no" to windows. i wish it hadn't taken 25 years and M$ decision to make Win into the abysmal Ai bullshit that it now is becoming, before i managed the jump permanently. better late than never .. xP

In better news: my health seems to be improving! Still meh now and then with the acid reflux i still got, but that's improving with better exercise and less weight. I am starting to cook more again too instead of eating processed foods. Next on the menu: German style Chicken Fricassee from scratch!

Having changed over to bluesky to not have to read the BS on ex-twitter any longer. i am quite annoyed that some people on other platforms keep posting links to it. I guess stroking the ego of a billionaire doesn't bother some people.

Okay, i am truly happy with my new camera rig, except for one detail. ow! my arms! i need to get a proper shoulder rig for this bad boy... it absolutely gets heavy after a while.
