Well I have officially closed all of my X accounts. My hope is that this space doesn't get sold to someone who will allow for people to call my children the N word no matter how much money they're offered.

Officially leaving the cess pool of X this week. Posted a pic of my 15 yr old son and someone called him the N word and of course no consequences...you know it's freedom of speech.

You know what 'wings like eagles mean?' The eagle is the king of birds; it soars the highest into the heavens. Believers are to live...in the very presence...of God...but they need God's strength to get there. 1

Last night after family prayer, my 10 year old daughter came to me with tears in her eyes and asked to accept Christ into her life. I have been praying for her for years. Now all 3 of my kids have given their life to Christ. This means more to me than ANYTHING I could accomplish.

Coming to the end of the semester at Catholic U and we are ending by reading Things Fall Apart. We will also watch a video by Chinua Achebe where he explains why African people must tell their own stories.
