NZ government just announced the major funding grant will no longer be supporting humanities or social sciences : justification being “Real impact on our economy will come from areas such as physics, chemistry, maths, engineering and biomedical sciences.”

Reception #Classicstober Day 20 - Odysseus. All I can say is the 80's was wild! Ulysses 31 (or Space Legend Ulysses 31) was an anime with 26 episodes that told Odysseus' wanderings in a sci-fi setting

Described as "a dark sea witch with unknowable power", she doesn't yet have a backstory but follows naming conventions from Greek myth in S4.
