Getting rich local notifications to work is fun - simulator doesn’t to show a thumbnail in the “short look”, while a real device does; the real device doesn’t show the image in the “long look” unless accessed through a security scoped resource, while the simulator does 🤪 #iosdev #buildinpublic

Revisited the first iOS game I built ~15 years ago while learning Objective-C. Non-ARC, old cocos2d, iPhone4 layouts. Manual cleanup only — removed Flurry + GameCenter and fixed enough to compile. It builds. It runs. I had apparently built an After Effects → XML level pipeline. Not sure how. 😅 #ios
