#Indian #motorcycle days out at Island Motorcycle Company so took out an Indian 101 for a test ride, lovely bike but I now know I’m too much of a hoon for curated rides.

Another glorious afternoon in #Victoria so of course there has to be a #motorcycle #coffee meet up. Couple of the regulars got new bikes today so lots to talk about, #RoyalEnfield #Classic 650 in teal (very nice looking) and a 2008 #HarleyDavidson #Nightster handed down from Grandma (nice).

I have left the office for the week (3 day work week) and have left the tech brains of our small operation getting my new computer organized. I could happily go back to a pen & paper for daily work (showing my age) but I know this is for best (long term) even if I don’t like it.

Hockey is unavailable to watch on CBC Gem, have to pay for regular cable or subscribe to SportsNet if you wanna see it live. Guess I’ll be missing the playoffs this year 🤷‍♂️ Sorry Edmonton, Montreal & Ottawa.

Spent the afternoon at a celebration of life for my favourite brother in law from a previous life. Hadn’t seen most of ex’s family for 20-30 yrs, so glad I went. Some memories are great even if that 1st marriage wasn’t. Life is short, stay connected to those that are positive for you.

I’ve had a Sapele sliver for approximately 8 weeks, tried removing several times without luck, but this toxic African hardwood made my left hand pretty useless without having some sharp pain, couldn’t even pull the clutch lever in on my motorcycle. Today I took it to the hired guns, success.

I started my new 3 day work week this week so this is my Friday night. Feeling good about this change. #retiringslowly
