Spent the afternoon at a celebration of life for my favourite brother in law from a previous life. Hadn’t seen most of ex’s family for 20-30 yrs, so glad I went. Some memories are great even if that 1st marriage wasn’t. Life is short, stay connected to those that are positive for you.

Wonderful day out on the motorcycle today in the Victoria sunshine. Took a new to me motorcycle out for a test ride, unfortunately, it was much nicer in my dreams, in reality it sucked pretty bad. But this is why we test ride these things. 🤷‍♂️

I’ve had a Sapele sliver for approximately 8 weeks, tried removing several times without luck, but this toxic African hardwood made my left hand pretty useless without having some sharp pain, couldn’t even pull the clutch lever in on my motorcycle. Today I took it to the hired guns, success.

I started my new 3 day work week this week so this is my Friday night. Feeling good about this change. #retiringslowly

Did something different for Christmas Eve this year and went to a movie “Hamnet” with some late night sushi as a follow up. May do this again next year.

Wow, no rain in the forecast today, no sun either but lack of sun is more tolerable with no rain. May e-bike downtown and avoid the traffic & parking hassles. Nice to have options.
