I've received a number of emails and questions about changes to Kingston’s recycling system. To be clear, this was NOT City led, or directed. These changes, giving operations to Emterra and Circular Materials, were mandated by the Ford government.

Today the City of Kingston received $3.2 million from the province's Building Faster Fund for exceeding our housing targets. This money will be put to good use expanding and repairing our infrastructure.

The weather is getting nicer so I spent a few hours knocking on doors in the district. I don't care what anyone says, the best way to keep in touch with the community is by canvassing and listening to constituents.

Ran into Vincent Cinanni at the Memorial Centre Farmers' Market . Williamsville is lucky to have a passionate advocate for protecting public space and I'm lucky to have a great collaborative partner on Council.

Don't forget to set your clocks ahead tonight, unless you're the American president and trying to set the clocks back to the 1890s with tariffs and robber barons.
