I’m not naive, as I’m an Orioles fan who’s watched big name players sign elsewhere after reading reports that the Orioles were aggressively in on them, but I don’t think it blankly means that Valdez “doesn’t want to be here”. It’s annoying, & at some point we need him to decide, but this happens.

Not excited about teaching on zoom all day for the next two days but I can’t say I’m upset that I don’t have to leave my house in 5 degree weather to teach in person 🙃
