There are more games like these currently in development to a certain state. I mentioned ASUKA the Ascend before, also Forza Horizon 6 (while not confirmed yet) seems to be in japan this time for real. There are also smaller games aiming for oldschool content like DRIVE or "Old School" Rally.

2025 is an incredible year for the return of oldschool styled racing games and maybe one of the strongest for an entire decade. I can't stress enough how important this will become for the genre.

This game man. I need to enjoy some time there.

The current running eventstory in gfl2 has been dubbed terribly tbh. The story is good, but there are so many inconsistencies with the dub... it's hilarious. In almost every line they change the characters genders or precalling. Then there is an annoying shift between being formal or personal.
