More painting! Painted up some warbeasts for the #warmachine journeyman league starting up this week at my flgs. I got some new pearlescent gold paint from #P3 that I wanted to try out. All in all not bad but they could use more contrast. Still learning, still a good duck. #miniature #painting

Finished all but the bases on my PanO minis from #infinity! Still have to work on my brush control as I can see lots of places my brush strayed or bumped spots I didn't mean to. Practice is practice! :3

Worked on painting my Infinity folks more last night. I tried doing some highlighting/glazing on the armor and pants. I'm not super thrilled with how it's looking. I might need to re-basecoat those bits and try again :/ #miniature #painting

Just picked up some 'Ghost' brushes from one my local gaming stores :D I'll have to try them out tonight to see how they feel! White nylon bristles are an interesting look and it should, hopefully, get me better about not overloading a brush to the ferrule. Something I need practice at :P

Went to this month's painting night at my flgs. Picked up a new wet palette since the old one was kinda meh. A couple more paints and a silicone palette too. Spent my time there working on base coating some #infinity minis! Still a decent bit of work ahead but it's a start :3

Last week I got a game of #warmachine in at my LGS with the roomie. It was interesting playing with the store's terrain but it did take a while to set up since we didn't know where anything was :P We played the scenario 'wolves at our heels' at 50pts & I pulled out a win with an assassination run :3

Heya folks! Finally got a break in the constant winds recently and primed a few #warmachine and #infinity minis. I still have the magnetized ones to figure out. How the heck do I zenithal all the bits to look like the colours fit? 🤔

Got some new #Warmachine minis today! Wyrmspine Shadowmancers & a Spinner. Not the most exciting pieces but should be nice for the journeyman league folks are trying to start at my LGS. Wish their bases weren't slotted since all but one piece weren't built for that so there are gaps in the bases.

Went out to my LGS last night to play some #GrandArchive :3 I took a new wind Diana deck I cobbled together and, as expected, did not do particularly well :P It was close to closing out games but usually came up just a little short. It needs more time to bake.

Played another match with the #Infinity Essentials: Start Here box! I played PanO again & the roomie played JSA. I won this time! Managed to take out both his keisotsu on my first turn & managed to take down the shikami with AROs. I still gotta paint these minis up. It was too windy to prime today.

Played my first ever game of #Infinity last night! It was the Essentials - Start Here box with PanO and JSA. I played PanO & my roomie played the JSA side. Between some bad BS attacks & his Shikami's super jump he managed to close distance really fast. His Shikami took my entire force apart. :D

Back home and back to hobby-ing! :D Glued together the six minis that came with the #InfinityN5 Essentials box and put the cardboard terrain together. Looking forward to giving the game a shot sometime soon :D Still need to prime and paint them, of course, but I could play with them now I suppose :3

Finally home! Time to rest for a bit. I took tomorrow off work as well to have time to recuperate some :3 Hoping I dodged con-crud! Looking forward to taking some time to work on some minis. Get these #Infinity Essentials units put together and maybe prime up my newest #Warmachine battlegroup :3

Last night in Boston tonight. Drafted some #GrandArchive (I certainly.. drafted some cards :p) Then we wandered over to #LegalSeafood and I ate an ill-advised amount of fried seafood. Good times. Now chilling in the hotel before packing things up for the morning. Early flight tomorrow @__@

Tasty breakfast at a place called #PressedCafe :3 Didn't finish my chicken cordon bleu burrito but it was tasty. Peaches and cream matcha, too :3 Unfortunately my stomach started acting up again so after that I went back to the room to crash for a bit. Will wander back to the event here in a while.

Winning "some" games was perhaps a lofty goal :p I won one game to tie a match but lost every other game played. The meta is meh; pretty much every deck I went against was running the same few cards. A bit dull in that respect. Dropped after round 5 since my stomach was iffy anyway. :x #GrandArchive

Oof, been a little bit, hasn't it? Life's been a lot lately so I haven't had any real time to dig into painting lately. I have been distracting myself with TTS solo wargaming, though. Lately I've been puttering around with both #ForgottenRuin and #5LeaguesFromTheBorderlands. Good times.

1. Played Color Guard with the roomie again last night; using a somewhat broken list since I forgot that I had included a unit and a solo ... that I don't even own yet XD Whoops. I yeeted in a conjurer to make up some of the point deficit but still only fielded 28 versus his 30. #warmachine

I picked up the khymaera battlegroup box the other day and got my magnets in the mail today! First time I've ever attempted to magnetize minis but it went pretty well once I got the hang of getting the polarities correct. Paint is yet to come but they might hit the table nude later :3 #warmachine

Played the Color Guard scenario in Warmachine again last night! Won again, too! :3 Got an assassination victory this time though it was close. I got Kyrrax up to the Hounds and did a ton of damage there as my knights took Razor most of the way down before turning on Zahara. #warmachine

Played another 30 point Warmachine skirmish with my roomie the other day! We played the Steamroller 2025 scenario Color Guard. I managed to eek out a scenario victory just barely due to my last Incarnate Knight stubbornly staying alive. Good times! #Warmachine

Played #warmachine last night! My 30 pt. shadowflame shard incarnates cadre box vs. my friend's 30 pt. khador sks recon box. His warcaster get a bit too far forward near my warbeast & got summarily smushed. I'm pretty sure we had some gameplay & tactical errors on both sides but it was fun! :D
