I’m sorry to learn of the passing of Joanna Macy. Her book, World As Lover, World As Self, greatly influenced my thinking at a time when I drew from Engaged Buddhism as a way to understand and cope with not only the climate crisis but also the moral crisis in our relationship with other animals.
