To prove my point I've been translating all day and was gonna take a break after making this post, but somehow I blinked and an hour later I have now translated and formatted some stuff I'd overlooked for the Mujina Carnival page NOW I will take a break 😭

Truly have been living this entire year just one (sometimes more) Ave Mujica translation project to the next. It's a nice feeling being so caught up, and yet still feeling like I have so much to keep me occupied with all the editing I want to do with various things to bring them up to my standards

Still obsessed with this layout. Whoever decided to have Sumimi's Uika and Doloris on opposite sides was a GENIUS. Oblivionis and Mortis tap into Crychic!Sakiko and Crychic!Mutsumi's psyches, meanwhile Doloris' impetus is comparing herself to Tomori-- (Seine you're reading into it too much)

Once again thinking about how crazy it is that Sakiko invited Uika to join her band. Uika by that point had already been skipping school because she was so busy (they showed us this in the ep before she gets invited). Sakiko called her *fully* expecting her to say no... but she said yes...

Why is "Nontan" the least voted for what people call her... some of us locked onto what the Ave Mujica seiyuu call her smh

Basically it's like this

Okay but I love how every time she talks about being possessed it's by Doloris specifically. Nontan said she sees her as being Uika/Hatsune sometimes, but when Ricochi describes it she always says it's Doloris taking over her body. And that Uika also gets taken over by her too. RAAAAAAAAAAGH

Ricochi will go on rants about how Doloris possesses her and takes over her body and forces her to forget that Nontan isn't actually Sakiko Togawa in the flesh. Then you watch Doloris scenes and she's acting like a wet soggy piece of cardboard

Randomly feeling super insecure as a Ricochi fan fsr... it's not that serious I guess but it super bums me out that there's a very real chance I'll never get to see her in concert in person. I've been obsessively shilling her to English fans for 2 years now and just augh 😭

Now how is Nontan even able to one-up the post Ricochi made for her birthday

I love that nothing in the actual writing implies that Uika gets possessed/has out of body experiences when she becomes Doloris, but since it happens to Ricochi she's banging pots and pans like "SHE'S JUST LIKE ME THIS ALSO HAPPENS TO HER TRUST ME"

Nauseating. Why did she say this. "I can't see people around me when I sing as Doloris" says the woman who gets paid to stare at Kanon Takao voice actress of Sakiko Togawa on stage and who has said multiple times before that she sings with the idea that she's in a world with only the two of them

Ricochi saying "you could watch It's MyGO after Ave Mujica if you want" is sending me

I looove how self-aware Hatsune is. She KNOWS she's a liar and a fraud. Unrelated but this is still one of my favorite moments

You ever think about that time Ricochi said when she struggles with singing she has Nontan's keyboard turned up and that helps her get back into things. Nauseating

I love Sora no Musica so much. The way Doloris had her memories of Oblivionis supposedly wiped, but then in the song she sings right after, she's asking herself where this love, desperation and yearning for her came from. Even if you wipe her mind a billionaire times over she would still love her

Need an Avemygo shounen spinoff with Tomori as the main character. Uika's really supportive of her the whole time and cheers her on through tough times, but then at the climax of the show you learn she actually hates her guts and ends up being the final bos--wait this is just the plot of the show

Thinking about the gender commentary in Ave Mujica and Man. You ever just think about how the Togawa bloodline is passed down through the women, thus Hatsune's life would probably look very different if she was a boy and not a girl, and how this influences her lack of attachment to femininity

Just thought about Nova Historia Black Birthday and felt like I got hit by a truck

I know I basically say this constantly, but it really does mean everything to me that Ricochi has such a similar view on Doloris/Uika that I do... I'm super duper picky with how characters I like get portrayed, but every time Ricochi talks about her I'm just like "god SHE GETS IT."

"There's me singing, and then there's another me spectating me singing" "Doloris gets possessed like I do" bestie when is this ep dropping. Tomorrow or a week from now. I need to see it! Ricochi's talked about this so much but it was almost always in text form!!!!!!!!!!
