I have a comic series in mind about a group of Klingon spies. It fascinates me how a culture that prides itself of honor handles the necessary deceit in espionage, and the answer to me was that intelligence is where they stick the Klingons they're ashamed of. Even some art for it.

Each frame of character animation in Mega Knockdown actually contains (at least) two hand drawn sprites, layered on top of each other. One sprite has lineart with shading, and it is placed on top of a flats layer that gets mapped to the character's color palette by a color swap shader. #gamedev

I kinda hope that, at some point, Starfleet Academy addresses the obvious seeming contradiction of Starfleet, one that often gets framed as bad writing by lazy critics. "How was I supposed to know?" is a valid excuse for something going wrong when dealing with the unknown.

Being 500 years old, and being a non traditional CO, the character should be different from any other Starfleet Captain we've seen before.

This and the Street Fighter trailer make me think we're entering an era that just absolutely refuses to aim for anything like realism in adapting these properties.

My only real complaint about #starfleetacademy is that it suffers from Pilot Disorder: trying to organically introduce all its elements and characters while telling a good story. In that regard it succeeds well enough. Personally, I'd tune in every week to see Thok yelling at the kids.
