While we did not end the season on a high note, I am proud of this team!! When the REX announced these jerseys would be auctioned off, I wanted one for me, then to surprise mom!! Luckily, I was able to keep the surprise and make her night!! 🧢⚾️

The same cancer that took my dear friend took Cubs legend, Ryne Sandberg. In honor of him, I wore his jersey. He was my favorite all-time baseball player. May he rest in peace!! 🧢⚾️

I have watched so many videos and all angles of "the shot" by Haliburton and reactions from all over. This team is something special. I am ready for the Pacers to bring home their first NBA Title!! As they say, "In 49 states, it's just basketball, but this is Indiana!!" Go Pacers!! #YesCers 🔵🟡

We support our Indiana Pacers for Pacers Night at the Terre Haute Rex game!! In 2000, I remember the excitement. Watching Reggie take on Kobe and Shaq, then attempting the "Hack Shaq" to send him to the free throw line due to his poor free throw shooting. We lost that series, but it was fun!! 🏀🥰

The Rex may have lost, but I found this gem on the way out and won a Big Willy's gift certificate!! ⚾️🧢

Watching Alzheimer's take you away was hard, but I know you are bowling, gardening, playing softball, and talking to everyone...as you never met a stranger. From up above, you watched and enjoyed the Pacers advancing to the NBA Finals!! 🏀 I love and miss you. Rest in Peace, Grandpa Henneman!! 💖

Every June 1 hurts. I will never forget that phone call and the heartbreak. However, I know you are watching over us. We will meet again and celebrate one day. 😊

Life has changed. I graduated college and just finished my 12th year teaching. Mom and Dad are retired. Bobby still lives in Brooklyn and works for the same company he did while at IU. Grandma Rose misses you each day and enjoyed 58 wonderful years with you...her high school, sweetheart. 💒

Seventeen years of missed anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, and other milestones. The world is a different place, but you would be proud of us. 🥰

Fast forward to May 23, 2025—the end of another school year. I am thankful, grateful, and blessed to have had amazing colleagues, friends, and students throughout this journey. 💖 Now, it’s time for a wonderful summer filled with rest, relaxation, and fun! 🏖️

On August 7, 2024, I began my fifth year of teaching at NCMS. 👩‍🏫 This school year was both great and busy!! I felt truly blessed to teach both 7th and 8th graders in Computer Science and Digital Applications. 🥰

Today, I said goodbye to an incredible group of 8th graders!! I had the pleasure of spending two years with many of them. Even though the rain dampened our picnic, we had a great time!! One student even left me a kind note to start my day. I will miss this group and wish them all the best!! 💖

Today was my last regular school day of the year. Tomorrow, we celebrate our 8th graders, and summer starts on Friday!! Some students wrote heartwarming notes, reminding me how small gestures can brighten my day and make me feel appreciated!! 💖

For two years, I have had this student. Next week, we will say goodbye as she heads off to high school. When she handed it to me, I was told this may make you cry. It made my heart happy, and I smiled. This kind note made my day...little things matter!! 💖

This year, I watched the live stream and witnessed a monstrous comeback. There is something special about this team, too. They have grit and were able to grind this one out. Wishing them and other local teams the best of luck at Semi-State on Saturday. 💖

In 1999, I was an 8th grader, and my brother was a senior. Watching that team was excellent. They beat #1 undefeated Lawrence North in their final home game. It was so loud and fun. We knew that the team was exceptional. We attended all those games in person. 🏀
