There is video of the shooting of a woman by ICE in Minneapolis circulating that shows an ICE agent repeatedly shooting her at point blank range while she tries to drive off. There was no obvious threat to any ICE agent.

I followed Fox portrayal of event. Fox did show whole Minneapolis City officials news conf, then undermined it viciously for next hour.

So we're off with conflicting narratives of Minneapolis woman's death. It's clear that ICE killed her. Fox wants to blame local police & Mayor Frey. I experienced the mayor as judicious and tempered, but Fox was scandalized. TWO Narratives!

Someone who claims to have witnessed the incident says - car was blocking ice - they told them to move - "something happened' - ICE shot into the car as it was driving away - passenger got out of the car covered away and said friend was dead There is video and I have seen it

CBP just shot a woman "in the face" as she attempted to drive away in Minneapolis. Unconfirmed reports are that she's dead.

I hope other theoretical democracies watching this unfold from abroad learn the lessons we didn't. Do not let the most reactionary elements of your society take power. They will burn it all down around your ears, and by the time you recover from your shock, it will be too late.

I really really hope social media platforms, including this one, do not use the graphic nature of that video as an excuse to suppress it. It needs to remain available as evidence in case the usual suspects attempt to rewrite history.
