Alright bluesky, since I know less than 100 people on here, here's a little secret magic I've been working on..

I've been thinking a lot about time dilation this week. My kid is 11 and in just 5 more years they'll be old enough to drive. But to them, 5 years is literally half a lifetime. It would be like asking if I was looking forward to something 20 years in the future. "Sure, I guess! See you then!" 🤷🏼

Currently reading a book called "How Minds Change" and I find it fascinating how the script to convince someone to examine their own beliefs has some parallels to the structure or presentation of some magic acts. It's impossible to sum up the book in one blurb, but the gist of it is as follows:

We've had a lot of "horror/slashers in space" movies, but I'm struggling to think of any cyberpunk horror movies at the moment. I think I need some neotexas chainsaw massacre or Cyber Samara.

I know it's past Halloween, but I'm finally getting caught up on all the Scream sequels post the original 3 and honestly they've all been really fun.

I've been trying this new thing where you do something healthy on a semi-regular basis. So far I hate it.
