This morning, I was pleased to see a female Black Rustic NFY in the trap. I struggled to photograph one last year, eventually giving up because I couldn't capture its blackness and markings. But now that I have a better camera, flash, and an AK Macro Diffuser, it isn't an issue. Phew! #teammoth

11:30 a.m., I just found another Clifden Nonpareil on the wall! Not as high up as yesterday's, luckily. Compared to the other one, this one looked fresh out-of-the-box. It isn't the most attractive Clifden Nonpareil NFG, for sure. I didn't notice it high up on the wall this morning. When I did, I thought it was a Red Underwing and went indoors. In the mornings, I can be pretty blasé. Anyway, when I finally realised what it was, I panicked. 😅 #teammoth

While I was looking inside the trap last night, this Convolvulus Hawk-moth nearly struck me on the head. I had no idea what kind of hawk-moth it was at the time, though. It might have been a Death's-head! 🤣 It's not in the best of shape, but the Clifden Nonpareil isn't either. #teammoth #moths

About 20 Ruby Tigers were in and on the trap this morning. I don't recall ever having so many. There were only two the morning before. Yesterday, a Burnished Brass was staged on this ribwort plantain leaf, and I liked how it curled up overnight, so I decided to use it again. #teammoth #moths #red
