Zebra did a Kickstarter for Stearman-like development tanks. I considered the 8x10, but don’t want to mix 2 liters of chems, especially when the Stearman 8x10 takes so much less. Didn’t need another 4x5. So I got the 5x7. Under a liter, holds 4 sheets. Feels solid. Will have to shoot some 5x7 soon.

New Orleans Louis Armstrong airport was also willing to hand inspect film. Every other aspect of getting through the TSA checkpoint fucking sucks and makes me want to never fly again, but at least my film is safe.

Going home tomorrow. Final tally is 16 rolls of film shot. 5 rolls through the Zeiss Ikon Nettar. 4 rolls through the Pentax 17. 7 rolls through the Leica R4. Roughly speaking, about 620 photos taken, or roughly the amount taken by a digital photographer in a half hour.

Sunglasses Yesterday, after lunch we stopped at a store that we know well because they also have a store in Asbury Park, at least in the summer. I pulled out the #charmera because the shapes seemed like they would work well.

Had Ethiopian food for lunch. It was wonderful. This is the kind of thing that goes away in Steven Miller’s fever dreams. Fuck ICE.

L Train Brass Band Wandering around a frigid Marigny neighborhood we stumbled across the L Train Brass Band busking in the median on Esplanade. Figures I would have to come to New Orleans to hear a band from Brooklyn. They got a great reception here. #charmera

Laura marched in the Krewe Boheme parade tonight. I shot three rolls of film. Lomography 800 in the Nettar. Portra 800 in the Pentax 17. Delta 3200 in the Leica R4. I think that’s roughly 125 frames, and probably 80 of them were of Laura. I hope they come out.
