Most people simply want to live a relatively comfortable life, have a family, a roof over their heads, food on the table, and occasionally to be able to enjoy some of the amenities of life. Unfortunately, whether or not they can enjoy that life is becoming increasingly dependent upon their politics.

To maintain a balanced and impartial SCOTUS we must recognize that even justices align themselves with political parties. We should mandate an equal number of justices for each side, and a central "tie breaking" seat represented by the majority vote of numerous anonymous federal judges.

New law for when sanity returns to Congress - sworn law enforcement officers can not hide their identity when making an arrest, and must identify themselves when asked. No person who is not a sworn officer may make an arrest, apprehension, or detain any persons. To do so would constitute assault.

The FBI just arrested a Milwaukee judge for allegedly assisting an immigrant evade being arrested by ICE. The question here isn't as much about the judge as it is about whether or not ICE was acting under a lawful order.

It needs saying. If we have a criminal administration that doesn't comply with Supreme Court rulings, doesn't follow the law, and imposes it's orders illegally upon us, we have no obligation, in fact it's our duty and our right, not to comply. Trump can not enforce illegal demands.

Trump's tariffs could be a great opportunity for Blue states. They could take advantage of Trump's insane tariffs by lowering sales and use taxes, and instituting a progressive property tax. This would greatly assist lower income people, and would no doubt be greatly appreciated at the ballot box.

I don't believe it to be an assumption that this administration is capable of doing things more terrible than we could imagine.

Declaring there are only two sexes denies the reality of intermediate conditions at birth called disorder of sex development, or DSD. Approximately 1 out of every 5000 births exhibit this condition. These are real people with a real medical condition. They deserve compassionate care.

Anyone else have problems with AT&T when trying to port your phone number to another carrier? I stopped trying after 3 days of trying, and opted for a new number to avoid the hassle and frustration. They said it was for security purposes, but it felt more like harassment. I doubt they really care.

People seem to want to forget that Don "The Con" is a full blown certifiable narcissist. As such he's concerned only with himself with little to no concern for others, or for how his actions affect other people. To him the oval office is his ticket to personal enrichment and power.
