Well, it's been over a year since I posted this and there hasnt been an announcement of any kind so I'm guessing there will be no new John Carter Warlord of Mars RPG (other than the 5e sourcebook) :(

Back in the 80’s Sears used to sell packs of comics of 25 or 50. One of the comics that I got was Turok Son of Stone 130. I picked up the Dynamite runs and I always figured I’d hunt down some of the vol 1 issues. Now that Skybound has the rights, I better start sooner than later.

Watched a youtube review of an older RPG (about 10 year old game) and the reviewer keeps going on about how they should have used D&D as the ruleset. I HATE this thinking. There are more than enough games that are OSR, D&D, 5e. Go get one of those then. I like games with new systems.

I have been loving Daredevil Born Again season 2, but I got a huge problem with the ending specifically when it comes to Fisk.

I want a comic with a retro sci fi feel. Rocket ships with fins, bubble helmets and ray guns. The Flash Gordon series seems to be going more in that direction but I can’t think of anything else. #comicsky

Thing with layoffs is that the work itself doesn't go away, just the people that were doing that work. What happens? The remaining folks are stuck doing MORE work, certain needed tasks are no longer done or take longer to get done. But management still wants those tasks exactly as it was before
