After all the headache with temporarily losing my Meta accounts, decided I'm just going to download all of it as of now so if I lose it again, I at least have all the images, data etc from 2005 to today. Feels less scary losing only a few months worth vs 20 years worth.

Work & life in general have been so busy I haven't had time to work on my Japan trip (4 weeks!) But at least I'm getting to see ppl I haven't seen in eons. One is up in Canada for work for 3 days & we're going to grab the ferry to see another friend I haven't seen since summer. 📸 of new 💀 🐼 4 tax

Had a very busy weekend. Had to emergency upgrade a friend's PC on a budget so ended up moving my upgrade plans from next year to now. Dropped my 5600X CPU + ASUS mobo, 32Gb AM4 RAM, + PSU into her kit then realized her AIO was dead. Ran out to get a new one cause mine didnt fit her case 1/3

We celebrated my grans 100th today at her seniors home (we will do the private family to do on her actual bday on the 12th). She got her official letters from the governor General & King Charles. Happy 100th! A lot of the residents and my grans friends enjoyed the cake & company. #100bday

OMG finally figured out why some progs were spiking audio from Chrome - first noticed it w/ OBS, then with games like Minecraft. Turns out Armory Crate Profiles were causing this and just turned those off. Now I can run OBS with BG music without issues. Pic for tax

US Friends, I had thought about rejoining the US LARP scene this year since I started the new job & have more funds but given how chaotic & in flux the situation is down there, sadly I will likely not be heading down there for the near future.

Tried to file taxes early only to find out I can't 'cause I have a tiny amnt of capital gains & any return with any amount can't be done likely until late March 'cause of cap gain tax changes for large amnts. Oh well. On the upside, the $ I set aside is way overkill so most of a Japan got!

Have started new job (while still performing duties of old job). I'll be in the office more for the immediate future as I have a lot to learn but I'll still luckily have work from home days. At home 2 days, in office 3 days. Luckily my counterpart also likes to come in a bit later in the morning
