I just decided to do a tally on how much I've read this year, and I made it to 35!! I didn't quite hit my goal of 75 books, but I'm so happy that I'm reading more. This includes both physical copies of books and audiobooks, btw. I'll actually share what I've read in a minute : D

I actually hate the trope (most of the time) where all culpability for a villain is wiped away due to actually being something out of their control. Manipulation is a major one where the story makes it feel like they're trying to give a pass to the character(s) because it's not really their fault.
