I have my good days, I have my bad days, & I have my, "wow I have the greatest friends in the world" days. Lucky for me, I had good friends come by to send us off; we are moving in May, still staying in CO, but we cannot stay here. With friends like these, any place I have will still feel like home.

I wish life turned out differently, and yet, here I still am. I've been thinking a lot lately, I've let other's visions for my future cloud my own, but I think I'm rather done with that, makes me wonder what I can do now to find a little grace. Guess every silver lining does have a touch of gray.

Friendships passed, friendships present, friendships awaiting recognition: I no longer feel any which way about a willingness toward my omission. People come, people go, but we proceed with the show. Who I was, who you were, who you are, who I am: Is just something you and I will now never know.

Standing over the abyss created by a so-called leader's greed and ego, while I do my best not to feed my own, nor be fearful to the bone. What is life anymore beyond a chore? Where we pine for more in which we adore, as we fall fast to the floor? We can at least be kind, and refuse to be blind.

People may come and go in life, but they stay in my heart, and after a while, I wonder why I still hold onto it. The pain of being forgotten and feeling meaningless can be a wild beast, but no wilder than the paradox of putting yourself through it repeatedly and not letting go.

I need to limit my scope. Of course I want more out of life, but I should be more content and I really need to work on that. Things out there are scary, but I can't change that. All I can do is focus on the things I am able to change.

Had a nice conversation with my dad. He called me a liberal and told me life is the same and nothing has changed in the past 10 years. The border agencies are "just doing their jobs", everything I see is false, and my concerns are unjustified. At least he says he loves me though.

I'm mind bogglingly grateful for all the kindness and love I have received in my life so far. I look back on everything and think to myself, "I did alright!", and lately, coming out of a huge rut, it's energizing me more than anything to rise up to my current challenges.

I don't have abs. I don't travel often. But for over 10 years, I think I've successfully been myself in this wonderful community, and that won't ever change. I welcome the experiences as they come! And perhaps one day, our paths will cross and I can give you the biggest hug! ^w^
