There are many feelings & experiences in life we wish to share with others: be it art, kink scenes, taking someone to their first con. I had an interview yesterday and got the onboarding paperwork today. I'll be returning to work on the 8th of June. 🎉

Just lost my job, but you know what? I'm feeling really good about it! Sky is the limit now, and it feels as though a great weight has been lifted off my shoulders. The future is looking a little more clearly now.

I think it's time to find a new job. I believe my current company is trying to "constructively dismiss" me. Perhaps a career pivot might be needed, I spent 10 years in this industry and every company I have worked for plays games with my livelihood. I just want peace in my life.

Sometimes I wonder what direction my life would be in if I made different choices. But I'm not filled with regret, just curiousity, and perhaps a lust for answers to questions never asked.

I have my good days, I have my bad days, & I have my, "wow I have the greatest friends in the world" days. Lucky for me, I had good friends come by to send us off; we are moving in May, still staying in CO, but we cannot stay here. With friends like these, any place I have will still feel like home.

The world has wounded me, but I still carry on. The feeling of pointlessness entwined with the feeling of hopefulness. I just want off this crazy ride and to return to some semblance of normalcy, but that's not something to wait for, that's something to carve towards.

For so long have I felt anguished, and for too long have I languished: Carrying my fears when they ought to be relinquished, and my insecurities, of my own volition, vanquished. I'd like nothing more than those thought patterns to be extinguished. But strength returns when they are distinguished.

Friendships passed, friendships present, friendships awaiting recognition: I no longer feel any which way about a willingness toward my omission. People come, people go, but we proceed with the show. Who I was, who you were, who you are, who I am: Is just something you and I will now never know.

Standing over the abyss created by a so-called leader's greed and ego, while I do my best not to feed my own, nor be fearful to the bone. What is life anymore beyond a chore? Where we pine for more in which we adore, as we fall fast to the floor? We can at least be kind, and refuse to be blind.

People may come and go in life, but they stay in my heart, and after a while, I wonder why I still hold onto it. The pain of being forgotten and feeling meaningless can be a wild beast, but no wilder than the paradox of putting yourself through it repeatedly and not letting go.

I need to limit my scope. Of course I want more out of life, but I should be more content and I really need to work on that. Things out there are scary, but I can't change that. All I can do is focus on the things I am able to change.

Looking back at this year, it's been a very trying one. But I'm still here to see it through. Things always have the capacity to change or get better, that's why my new years resolution is to get my health in check. When you don't have your health, you really don't have anything.
