14/ watched JOURNAL WITH WITCH. amazing show right up there with shiboyugi but for completely different reasons. the problems of high schoolers are obviously well-explored in anime in general but not only does this have a unique look at that, it's combined with the problems of a 35yo woman as well

Damn, trigun stargaze is really not Good. Like I think it's a reaction to negative reception of Stampede rather than putting confidence behind it, and just ends up jumbled. And then it fails to have really good framing and flow to action so everything feels floaty and cheap.

Man learning make up with hooded eyes feels like a massive learning curve, esp when I had a bit of extra skin around one eye because of a childhood injury there (I fell up the stairs and got a nice gash off the old basement steps lol)

I wish I could care more about the bajor internal politics episodes but they're kind of a slog, especially when a lot of the characters don't appear except as a part of them so the dynamics feel undeveloped.
