Lab Question: We’re getting a lot of non-specific staining with an HRP-conjugated Anti-His Antibody from Thermo in our Westerns. Anybody have a positive experience with one from a different supplier?

The majority of my thesis work is in this paper and it’s great to finally have it out for review. Spores have a lot of potential value as protein carriers in vaccines, catalysis, and more. We dreamed up some new methods, synthesized a lot of DNA, and tested >20 new spore proteins for display.

Picking up an old flow cytometer from a shuttered startup like a puppy from the pound, exciting, but I’m worried it’s going leak all over the floor.
