Nice and toasty today (29C) but thunderstorms on the way apparently. They usually miss Dundee but we will see!

Been a while since I have updated here. Enjoying the lovely weather in #sunnydundee #scotland over the last few weeks. Today though the new storm #Floris is just hitting. Some decent gusts of 20 mph, probably double that at the airport #EGPN on the river.

Well, Éowyn fooled me. Just had strongest gust today of 46mph. More to come I guess. I’m tempted to walk down to the river just to see what it’s like…. Well, maybe…

13:45. Has calmed a little now. Wind direction shifting more to the West …. Does Éowyn have more for us? As always, roughly double these figures for wind speeds close to the River Tay.

#Darragh was not strong here at Dundee West End. Looked horrific on the West of Wales though. Lovely Sunday morning here now. The Tay is very still but not quite the mirror it sometimes is!

Storm #Darragh is battering the West of the #UK. Stay safe over there! Left us largely alone here on the East Coast at # Dundee so far Max gusts last night were 17 mph. The forecasts all suggested much stronger winds here…

Ah well, #bert arrived in #Dundee with gusts up to 37 mph last night. We’ve seen stronger winds here though. Likely some damage in less sheltered areas than this weather station!

#storm #bert seemed largely to pass by #Dundee…. Had a little bit of rain in the night but now a bright and sunny Sunday morning!

First proper cold night yesterday and a decent frost. Air temperature dropped to -3.4C. Bit warmer last night. Only -2.4!
