Oh God so tonight the late evening food craving was almost completely undone by the fact that our door dash driver seems to have smoked an entire carton of cigarettes on his way over to us. Thank God it was garbage night so we transferred the food and then threw the containers in the bin outside 🤮

One of my current workplaces has these fancy efficient (I guess?) elevators where all the buttons are in the lobby & when you press your floor a screen tells you which elevator to use. But if you accidentally hit the floor you're on, the screen just rudely says "Seek assistance"

And now for my greatest parenting challenge yet, had to pick the kid up early to see the doc, but I'm not allowed to interrupt nap time, so now it's extra early pickup AND get him down for a nap before an important meeting in 40 minutes.

If I could avoid driving through D.C. ever again, that would be cool. Too bad my most frequent trip would take 90 minutes on public transit (longer than driving home during evening rush hour) and costs twice as much as parking.
