First time in weeks the night sky was not hidden by evil clouds! I went out in the snowy backyard for an hour tonight. Mars looked high up in the sky, shining bright and red and virtually at opposition!

Mars high over Parc Mont-Tremblant at 5h00 Dec 21. Last quarter moon gave a nice ghostly look to the snow on the trees. Super quiet and a bit chilly at -15C. OM-5 with 17mm f/1.8 lens. 13s exp. as ISO 1600. @rascmontreal.bsky.social

Messier 33. One of my favourites! It is always #2 after the glamorous M31. Maybe I just like underdog galaxies. Skywatcher Evostar 80 and Canon SL3 DSLR.
