I continue to be amazed by my kids. I think most parents are. But today my kiddo finished reading the Hail Mary project, And I think it's the biggest book they have ever read. For some reason this makes me so much more proud than so many of their other accomplishments and I'm not even sure why.

It has been so deeply terrifying and joyful to see this through as a human. Look at what amazing things humans can accomplish when we work together. This has been the most hope I've felt in a long time. I wish more people in the world could see this and I feel the humanity around them.

I fixed it. The bear is all cleaned, and dried, and filled with rice and wool fluff. This time with a wool heart and message from kiddo tucked inside. The child is pleased again.
